in-store AR experience
Description
New Balance Kids Korea challenged our team to design an engaging in-store AR experience, complete with a game and photo booth, for their newly opened branch in Suwon Starfield, Korea. This project brought me a lot to learn, especially by working closely with talented colleagues, as it was developed with Unity.

AR Catch Game
Interactive catch game targeted at kids visiting the brand new Starfield store in Suwon, Korea.
It can be played individually or in teams, as the camera can detect up to three players.
Each theme is called a 'Challenge,' and it changes with the store display concept every season. (Total 5 challenges per year)

Game Intro
I led the design process from developing the visual concept into a joyful world by adopting candy- and toy-like textures, through countless visual explorations, all the way to the final render.
Seasonal Intro
NEWKIDS Character
The design captures the cheerful expressions of children aged 6-10, the target age group, along with details representing New Balance Kids hats. These elements can be used in marketing to promote in-store products and convey seasonal relevance.
Game Assets
Each challenge has 5 positive items including 3 seasonal items, a New Balance Shoes and a NB logo heart.
A bomb is the only negative item that deducts a point each time.
